Romana Kaspar-Kraft grew up in the art world. Her parents owned an art gallery in Toronto and so she become fascinated by artists. “I’ve had an interest in different periods of art. Because my parents dealt in 19th and early 20th century art, I have a lot of knowledge in that,” Romana says. “I was able to meet some of the artists. Being out east, I was exposed to other painters that you don’t find as much in the west but are very important to our history.”
When she moved to Calgary with her husband, Romana’s work was featured in several art shows prior to launching The Collector’s Gallery of Art in 1994.
