Granite Transformations

We had a warranty issue come up, which turned out to not be a warranty issue, but they offered to repair the work free of charge because we were still within the first year after installation. You can't even see where the old defect used to be. I would use them again as their product is repairable, not like the slab Granite we used to have and we did save a lot compared to my brother's granite company's quote.

Working with Granite Transformations has been an awful experience. They ended up making errors wrong on the template and causing delays. The seam is not in a great location and for the price is not what I expected. The worst part however is that the product itself has cracked. Sure it's scratch resistant and I can put pots on it but it's now cracked and not covered under warranty, I cannot afford to have it fixed. What good is a lifetime warranty if it doesn't cover anything? Be careful!

Don't trust the "Lifetime Warranty"

Don't trust the "Lifetime Warranty". We had our Dark Blue Glass countertops installed in 2012. We now require some minor repairs. The Lifetime Warranty says quote... "If our product should fail due to a manufacturing defect occurring at any time, we promise to repair or replace it COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE...". However, Granite Transformations said they have a $145 +gst charge. I think she called it a courtesy charge. It's not a lot of money, but when you promise something... follow through.

They do not honour their warranty. I have a crack that they said I caused just to get out of their warranty. I would never recommend this company!
