Excellent rooms with beautiful views, a lovely but small pool that we had to ourselves and a very good breakfast all for a very low price.
I can’t actually write a review about my stay as it is impossible to even book a room. I have a gift certificate that I would like to render. I was told to talk to the manager who must work very part time as I can never speak to them. I emailed and it has been a week with no response. I then called to follow up and was put on hold and transferred. Very poor customer service. I also find the below response to a poor review very unprofessional.
Simply put.... stay somewhere else. Do yourself a favour and book at another hotel, the staff is not friendly or helpful and the service is terrible. The hotel needs updating, the beds are uncomfortable, and the staff is terrible. I travel for business quite often and this is one of the worst hotels I have ever came across. The view is nice and location is good on the positive side... but their are other hotels near by with equally as good views and location and far better staff. If you are looking for a clean affordable hotel ... keep looking and don't book here. I don't often write reviews but I feel that I have to in this case. This hotel has potential if they fire the manager and get some new staff, and do a little cleaning. I brought my bathing suit for the hottub but after looking at the cloudy scum , I wouldn't set my foot in it. I didn't rate the food because I was scared to eat at the hotel.

I am very sorry you did not find the hotel to your standards. We at the Anchor Inn take all reviews very serious and have never had a review like this one except the one you also put on trip adviser. maybe customers should read about you & your teams actions from the customers that you disturbed all night. I have always had very positive comments on the staff and cleanliness of the hotel.
