Once Upon A Child

Its a great store, with tons of gently used stuff for kids. They pay a fair amount for used clothing, its amazing people on here expect the same what they paid for used stuff, yet the expect to pay nothing when its used.

Do not sell your clothing here, better off to sell on Facebook groups or craigslist. I sold them 43 items of baby clothes from newborn to 12 mths...ALL name brand mostly carters, Zara, and pekkle an ALL in practically new condition. 43 items plus a brand new (worn once) pair of converse shoes, and 2 brand new still in package halo sleepsacks. So all together 46 items. They paid me $45.23! I was paid for less than $1 per item! So pissed and will not go back, will be sharing my story with everyone

Your employee was rude when I suggested maybe putting a sign on the door, saying they were only accepting clothing for store credit. This was after I checked the door for a sign and hauled all my bins in the store. If I could give no stars, I would. They just lost a customer.

I came all the way with bags of clothing and a stroller and they took two minutes to tell me that my clothes were not in proper state?! Some of it was brand new.. they didn't even look at everything properly and none of it was ripped or stained. The stroller had a mark which I hadn't noticed that could be wiped off but they weren't even interested.They don't care if you took all this time to get it ready. They pick only Very selected stuff. Won't go back there again..

Very bad credit card rules to begin with. I paid 350 in cash and I had to add a $1.39 but the lady at the counter looked at me like I was a fraud when I decided to pay the $1.39 by using my visa card. She not only demanded two pieces of government IDs she also went on to write down my ID number behind the receipt. This is outrageous, nuisance and almost racist because I am a person of color. Mind you my best friend (white) goes to that store and he uses his visa card and they have never ID him.

Great service and...

Great service and selection. The staff were friendly and helpful while my daughter was able to sit in the play area and watch a movie. first time selling items and was amazed and that offer on the spot. alot better than trying to sell online or in the cold at a flea market. I even traded for more items and saved a little on taxes as well. Great to know that I am helping someone else who may not have alot while at the same time saving myself. great store!

After having three kids I still come to this location to get great deals. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

If I knew how to ...

If I knew how to give this Company a half a star I would. I was in there yesterday bought a glider swing for my baby, and was told it was in working condition. I got it home and tried it.. It DIDNT WORK. Went out and bought batteries again didnt work. Was told at the time I bought it I had 7 days to return it. So the next day I did. I was given such a hard time from the Manager with Glasses. Such horrible customer service trying to tell me I couldnt return it. When In fact I just wanted a working swing. And I had brought in gently used clothing from my other daughter and she told me my stuff wasnt good enough. I WILL NEVER COME BACK nor would I ever reccomend this place. UNLESS THEY GOT PEOPLE THAT ENJOYED THE WORK THEY DID. and werent miserable people.
