"When you live with chronic pain for a long time, it distorts your perception, your reality," says Mihael Mamychshvili, co-owner of Angel Hands Wellness. Angel Hands was created to approach health in a new way. "People come to us with chronic pain and multi-layered issues and they've been running all over the city trying to get help. They're frustrated,” says Mihael.
At Angel Hands Wellness, Mihael and co-owner Giselle Bobinski have assembled a team of like-minded professionals who work to bring individualized Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) to help patients."We are interested in what we call your ‘pain story’,“ says Mihael, “and how it spills over to all the different layers of your life."
When it comes to his treatment approach, Mihael likens a patient to a tree. "If a tree is sick, you can treat some branches, but you're not dealing with the sickness. You need to look at the whole tree, she insists." With that in mind, Mihael likes to get to the root of a person’s problems; to find out who the person is, what makes them tick and what's holding them back. "Then, we can find a way to help them," he declares.
