Our first visit was through their online service that is featured on the website (stickers on the windows). Our order was confirmed and so we drove off to pick it up - to find out they never recieved it. Not only did we have to reorder and wait another 20 minutes, but we were never offerred any discount or even a free egg roll for the misplacement of our order. Feeling generous we decided to visit once again, hoping that it was just a one time mistake. Sadly, most of the staff doesn't speak much English which made take-out difficult. The atmosphere is absolutely disgusting. I can't imagine sitting down in that place to eat with the faded carpet, unfinished walls and what looks like half-started construction on the side? The food was okay, hot and made fairly quickly however the service and dining experience...not so much. Need to have more friendly staff.

We always go for Dim-Sum on Sunday(s) Probably the best Dim-Sum restaurant in London. There are better Dim-Sums out there, but you need to go to restaurants in Chinatown, Toronto. Once past the food, The dining room is tired and ageing, dirty carpets, water stained ceilings, ugly window coverings. Servers will not under any circumstance go out of their way for you. The wait for water, forks ( in lieu of chopsticks) or even a bottle of soya sauce are very long. They often need to be reminded to bring it.

Must try

If you are looking for authentic Chinese, I think Dragon Court is a must try! I haven't had the buffet before so I can speak of that. Food came out in good portions, service was quick and friendly and the food was piping hot. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing! I went with my girlfriend after hearing about the 2for1 deal and it was great! The whole bill, with two pops, came to less than 18 bucks.

Had the dim sum - was extremely busy the day we went. I suggest making reservations ahead of time. Had the: gar gow, siu mai, congee, and a lot of assorted dishes. Food was excellent. The most authentic dim sum restaurant in London. Service was good, though it was really busy. Overall: excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Heard from a friend that their Peking Duck was the best they've had in and around Southwestern Ontario. Had to try it...and we're glad we did. It was AWESOME. The soup we had for appetizer was also delicious. The service is friendly and homely. Loved it! Been there 2 years ago, and the place has really taken off.

I came here with my friends a couple of weeks ago and was quite satisfied with my experience. The food was fresh and had quite a large variety. Very reasonably priced. Buffet included both authentic chinese food (which is probably best in town) and also Canadian chinese food (egg rolls, chicken balls, etc.). Fresh fruit and dessert was good also. Service was good, more of a friend warm experience rather than a more professional style. Would recommend, and definately visit again.

I ate here recently with a group of friends and thought it was teriffic experience. The food was always fresh and unlike other buffets, always had a distinctive flavour. The food seems more authentic than other buffets. The service was average, but not too much is expected from a buffet. Our tables were always cleaned from our plates, and we always had drinks. So, overall, I thought it was a great experience and would recommend it to all.

This is probably one of the few (if not the only) authentic Cantonese restaurants in London. You'll want to order from the "Chinese menu" though. Service is generally so-so, depending on whom you get. It doesn't really matter to me though. As long as I get the tea and food on the table, which is always done just fine, then I don't expect much else. Also, almost every time I come here, I order the same dishes. To start, the complimentary daily soup ("slow-boiling Cantonese soup") is sometimes good, sometimes mediocre. The Chinese broccoli beef showcases the basic skills of the chef, and is indeed quite good. The "grouper fish hot pot" is always a must-order for me. I could argue it is the best dish offered by Dragon Court and is comparable to similar offerings at Toronto restuarants. Price is awesome, fish is always extremely plentiful and fresh, and is just the best with a bowl of rice. The "salted fish tofu hot pot" also goes down superbly with rice. They use fresh/soft tofu here (instead of the standard fried tofu), and it's very excellent. Another recommended dish is the "three fresh tofu hot pot" (seafood and BBQ pork), though I wouldn't usually get this if I already have the "grouper fish hot pot" for the sake of variety. The Yangzhou fried rice, another one of those basic dishes that the chef should have mastered, is fine as well.

I had a high passion to make such a restaurant...

I had a high passion to make such a restaurant review because as a young gourmet, I had tried many dining places all over the world... To the restaurant's credit, the food in general was "okay" (or marginally acceptable!). If you are NOT a gourmet or Chinese cuisine lover, you will be "comfortable" with the food quality. However, for me, I was highly discouraged by its unreliable food quality and poor customer service. I dun know why the "spare ribs in black bean sauce" were undercooked, as if they are raw meat! When my friend asked for replacement, the staff was highly uncooperative. What is more, the beef balls had strange taste, as if the beef have been kept for a long time and was over-steamed. The staff gave me an impression that "they were the king and customers should take everything for granted". The overall customer experience was quite poor. I dun know if Londoners have already got used to such so-so quality, or have no other choices, I could hardly believe that such a restaurant was appraised by decent customers. If any one of us have any other good suggestions on dining places, please do let me know! Thanks.
