Venez savourer un excellent repas chez Il Fornello. Ce lieu apprécié est ouvert en soirée tous les jours de la semaine. Vous pouvez vous y rendre facilement par voiture.
Service was slow and inattentive. We requested a gluten free entree, for a diner with celiac disease- the food was NOT gluten free and this person got sick. This despite us calling ahead and being assured that they could accommodate us. We will not be back. So disappointing.
Went to this restaurant just yesterday and the server Shawn was great and very handsome. We got the Bruchetta with goat cheese added and it was fantastic and my friend and I both had the margarita pizzas. Ilfornello is definitely the place in Ajax to get pizzas no questions asked
I ordered chicken pasta. Both the chicken and pasta were hatd as a rock, and there was absolutely no flavour. Yuck! And I don't like eating in a gymnasium. Horrible, loud and awkward.
We tried a mid week evening meal at this restaurant.
When making the reservation we were told that we probably would not need to and there would be plenty of room as a "walk in". However I am glad we did as it was very busy. Not long after we were seated, it seemed to be full.
Our server was very good and we were taken care of very well.
The menu seems compact (probably half is pizzas) but still nicely varied with something for everyone. The drinks menu selection was also better than average.
A large amount of the food seems to be freshly homemade and the gnocchi was probably the best we have had.
The only slight negative was the homemade ice cream. This might just be personal preference, but we thought it could have been better.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal and we will definitely return for more....
