Took my 1975 Fiat Spider to Ken, what a great man. I wasn't sure he would be able to fix my car as it had lots of issues as well as it is Italian and not British. He was so nice, got right on it and updated me each week on what they did and if they were waiting on a part. They even took it for a test drive to make sure everything was working properly before I picked it up. Highly recommended, Thank you so much Ken

Norm from Glacier took one look at my F150 and diagnosed the electrical problem in 5 minutes when the "other guys" couldn't figure it out! Wow. It's nice to deal with an ACTUAL certified mechanic rather than the uncertified guys the other shops hire.

It has been a long time since I've had an oil change experience worth writing home about. I was beginning to think that I would have to change my own oil just to avoid being haggled and insulted as I had been at the last few places I tried. Not once was I lectured about coming in more often or told I don't take care of my car as usual (I'm not negligent - most lube shops use it to instill fear and have you pay more money.)
Paul seems like a manager-type person who was the man I spoke with the whole time I was there. If there was such thing as a 'carside' manner, he got it right on the money. He was extremely polite and even asked permission to put air in my tires like I was some kind of heiress. I am used to other places either not asking to add air or forgetting to even check them. A lot of places only do it 'by request' - but when they don't communicate with you, how are you supposed to request it? So this place was quite amazing. They showed me my transmission fluid colour to assure me it's in perfect condition. Basically, I would go back there strictly for the customer service, but their prices are reasonable too. I would say they are like any other place but you actually get what you pay for.
The owner's name is 'Al' but I never met him. Maybe he will be in on a weekday. I have a $10 off coupon for next time if I take the middle package so that's another incentive to return. I am glad I don't have to figure out how to change my own oil because it isn't easy when you lack the tools needed.
They have a coupon right now on he back of Safeway receipts for $8 off. I wish I had known, but it was still worth it.

Capilano Muffler Break and Tire Repair was great! I had a flat tire and they got me in within the hour. They fixed my tire and even filled up my doughnut wheel because they noticed it was low. I brought my car in due to someone hitting the rear bumper of my car. tails lights shattered and the bumper was a mess as well. my insurance gave me a list of places to go to and chose Carstar because it was close to my work. staff were very accommodating and response is quick! the place itself is neat and tidy. my car was finished 2 days prior to the expected date which was a major bonus points to the autobody refinishers! i will definitely recommend going to Carstar for any car issues

Troy and his team went above and beyond to give my daughters car a thorough inspection and fixed everything that required attention in order for her to drive safely out to Ontario, on a very short time frame. We were not able to give them a lot of notice but he fit us in and they worked overtime to complete the necessary repairs. shop was recommended by a friend who said to go there for tires. they have good used tires n they warranty them for 30 days and offer a free mechanical inspection as well. turns out i needed some suspension work done on my car. not only did i go ahead and got the tires done but got the suspension done too. New mechanic just started working there was very polite and gave me step by step info, the shop offered me a 20% discount which is a lot when you are lucky to have a job now at day! thanks!!

Zimm Auto repaired my Durango with an A.C problem and oil in the radiator. After he diagnosed the problem he kept me informed on a daily basis and sent pictures of his progress. He is honest, thorough and proud of his work. There were some glitches but not once did he say it is an unrelated problem.
I strongly recommend ZIMM AUTO for repairs and alignments.
