really like this place-go as often as I feel like it, Love the fact it's a diner, and if I'm ravenous, I could have a roast beef dinner for breakfast if I wanted to (and I have!) Prices are great, the corned beef hash is awesome (my fave breakfast there), service is quick and friendly, even though they are rushed . My kids love the pancakes and sausage, the philly beef cheese steak is very good.
Not only the best breakfast in the area, but the best value. (Especially if you are a senior.) 2 good sized eggs, 4 strips of bacon, texas toast and home-fires not frozen cubes. I get a side of hot peppers and coffee. For two of us .... just over $11.00 with tax!! (If you aren't a senior it would come to around $12.50)
Never had a problem with any of the waitresses. Food is cooked properly. Atmosphere is the usual R&R diner that plays a good selection of 50's & '60's music.
You can go a few blocks away and pay $16 for a lot less!
We drive past half a dozen breakfast joints that we have tried in the past to have breakfast here. (often)
This is just a great family restaurant and the food quality is good and plentiful.....great place to share a plate. The waitresses have been there a long time and are incredible!! Everything is run efficiently and it is also a fun atmosphere. We go here often for breakfasts!!!!

No doubt, this is Barrie's best breakfast joint, the place is always busy and there can be long lines at the door. Real home fries! Great good & good value, what else could you want? When it comes to setting the standard of what a good breakfast should be, look no further. Keep up the good work Wimpy's!!!
