The staff is legitimately difficult to deal with; they are are not accommodating at all and make the process of eye care so complicated. The secretary is unfriendly and speaks rudely when you question their methods. The eye dr at LensCrafters Rockland is much better.
I have only had a good experience at Zeidel-Pinsky Optometrists. The receptionists are polite and friendly and quick. They are quick to find you an appointment in an eye emergency. Dr. Zeidel is friendly, thorough, and professional and great with my kids too. Would recommend any time.
I've been going there for a couple years now, always had a good service for the exams itself - but the rest can definitely be worked on. Not only are the receptionnists always answering with attitude, buts its hard to even get a smile or a thank you. And everytime I've had to call to get my prescription sent to me, theres been a problem. They either refuse or find an excuse to get me to spend more money. Really tired of the service here, today was the LAST time I ever TRY to do business here.
I have known Dr. Zeidel for many, many years. He serves to the best of any one's ability. NOW he is charging for what should be included in any professional repertoire. Contact lens prescriptions are not given out probably because they can be filled on line at half price. I recommend that he stop demeaning himself over minor things, become true to the profession and act like the professional that he once was. Then this office would truly be worthwhile. As it now stands, yes the job gets done but the lack of professionalism and just plain money grubbing puts a sour odour to it all. Find someone else, preferably at a shopping mall in the states with the exam free and the lenses at half price
